Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What type of property do you buy?
We buy all types of property including: flats (both converted and purpose built), terraced houses, bungalows, semi-detached houses, detached houses, properties with sitting tenants, ex-Local Authority properties, properties in need of refurbishment and land with outline or full planning permission.
Q. Does my property need to be in good condition?
No, your property doesn't need to be good condition. We will consider property of any type and in any condition.
Q. I am currently trying to sell my property through an estate agent. Would it be better if I sell my property direct to you rather than continue with the agent?
First you need to check your contract with the agent to see how long you are tied in with them. Obviously no agent is ever going to be happy about losing commission, but for you a quick sale is more important. Please seek legal help from the Citizens Advice Bureau if you are unsure of the contract with your agent.
Q. How does your offer compare to the prices offered by an estate agent?
The rates we offer are based on different aspects such as location and the type of property. We typically offer around 80% of market value, which may or may not be what an estate agent suggests as an initial asking price. Please bear in mind that asking prices and actual sale prices can be significantly different.
Q. How long does the process take to sell my property to you and how quickly will I get my money?
If there are no delays with the legal enquiries the process can be completed in as little as 4 weeks.
As soon as we have completed the process of purchasing your home we release all the money to you.
Q. Will anybody know about the sale?
No, our service is completely confidential. Nobody will know about your sale unless you choose to tell them.
Q. Will I have to accept your offer straight away?
No, you are under no obligation whatsoever to accept our offer.
Q. I want to know about the areas associated with your company?
Our company is associated with all areas of the UK.
